What we do

We design apps people actually want to use, not just apps that launch.

Most apps fail because they're built before the design is validated. We start with user flows and wireframes, validate the logic, then build up to a polished high-fidelity UI, complete with an interactive prototype and developer-ready Figma handoff. Your development team gets everything they need to build without guesswork.

  • User flow & information architecture
  • Wireframes + high-fidelity UI
  • Interactive clickable prototype
  • Design system & component library

What every app design project delivers

Complete design deliverables, everything your development team needs to build the app.

User Flow Mapping

Every screen, state, and transition mapped out, so we understand the complete user journey before a single pixel is designed.

Wireframes (Low-Fidelity)

Structure-first wireframes that define layout, hierarchy and navigation, reviewed and approved before moving to visual design.

High-Fidelity UI Design

Pixel-perfect screen designs following iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Android Material Design 3, every state, every component.

Interactive Prototype

A fully clickable Figma prototype you can share with stakeholders, investors and users for testing, before development begins.

Design System & Components

A full component library, buttons, inputs, cards, navbars, icons, typography, so developers build consistently and future screens are fast to design.

Developer Handoff

Annotated Figma files with spacing, typography specs, colour tokens and asset exports, so developers have everything they need without back-and-forth.

Process

How we design your mobile app

1

Discovery & Flows

We document your app's user types, goals and key journeys, then map every screen and flow before any design begins.

2

Wireframes

Low-fidelity wireframes define structure, navigation and layout, reviewed and signed off before we apply any visual design.

3

UI Design & Prototype

We apply your brand to the approved wireframes, building the full high-fidelity UI and linking it into a clickable prototype.

4

Handoff

Annotated Figma files with specs, assets and the design system are handed over to your dev team, with a walkthrough session included.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about the design process, deliverables and working with developers.

Yes, DigitalX offers both design and development. If you want a bundled design + build package (Flutter, React Native or native iOS/Android), contact us for a combined quote. Alternatively, we deliver design-only and your own dev team builds from our Figma files.

For broad consumer audiences, Android-first design can make sense when data and device access vary. If you're targeting higher-income professionals or an international audience, iOS is often better. Our Full App Design and Enterprise packages cover both platforms simultaneously.

Most MVP apps have 15–25 unique screens. A full-featured consumer app typically has 30–50. Two-sided platforms (e.g. customer + rider) or enterprise apps can exceed 60. We'll estimate your screen count during the brief based on your feature list before any work begins.

Wireframes are low-detail structural layouts, no colours, no branding, that define where things go and how navigation works. High-fidelity UI is the final visual design with your brand, colours, typography and imagery applied. We always do wireframes first so the structure is approved before we invest time in visual design.

MVP packages typically take 3–4 weeks. Full App Design takes 5–7 weeks. Enterprise / complex apps take 8–12 weeks. Timelines depend on screen count, how quickly you review and approve work, and whether user testing is included.

Your developers receive: organised Figma files with every screen and state, a component library with all reusable elements, spacing and sizing annotations, typography and colour specifications, exported assets (icons, illustrations, images) in the correct formats, and a walkthrough session to answer any build questions.
